The Management Board of Polenergia S.A. ("Issuer") acting pursuant to art. 17 sec. 1 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on market abuse and repealing Directive 2003/6 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124 / EC, 2003/125 / EC and 2004/72 / EC (Journal of Laws of the European Union L. of 2014, No. 173, page 1, as amended) hereby informs that Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne SA ("PSE") in response to the application of Polenergia Bałtyk I SA, which develops the project of the offshore wind farm Baltic North, have determined the connection conditions for the aforementioned offshore wind farm.
According to the connection conditions received, it is possible to connect a offshore wind farm with a total capacity of 1560 MW. Connection conditions are specified, e.g. investments on the part of Polenergia Bałtyk I S.A. and PSE, the implementation of which will be necessary to ensure the connection and output of the planned offshore wind farm, and the necessary scope of arrangements for these investments with the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
Receiving the connection conditions discussed for the offshore wind farm Bałtyk Północny, in connection with the connection conditions for the offshore Baltic Bałtaik Central II, as reported by the Issuer in Current Report No. 7/2019, means the possibility of increasing the total power of offshore wind farms developed by IMF Bałtyk II sp. z oo, IMF Bałtyk III sp. z oo and Polenergia Bałtyk I SA, up to 3,000 MW.
