With reference to current reports No. 35/2017 of 20 July 2017, 37/2017 of 3 August 2017 and 38/2017 of 21 August 2017, the Management Board of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. ("Issuer") informs that on 16 October 2017 the New Jarosław Wind Invest sp. Z oo with its registered office in Warsaw against the Issuer of 30 June 2017 received payment of damages in the amount of PLN 27 million and determined liability for damages that may arise in the future from torts, including acts of unfair competition, with the value estimated by the claimant company in the amount of PLN 197.8 million. This is the last of the announced four suits of Wind Invest Group companies in the case in question. Br> The case was pending before the District Court in Katowice. The factual basis for the claim, according to the claims of the claimant company, is termination by the Issuer's subsidiary company: Polska Energia - Pierwszy Kompania Handlowa sp. O.o. based in Warsaw on long-term contracts for the sale of electricity and the sale of property rights arising from certificates of origin. About the termination of the above contracts The Issuer informed in the current report No. 7/2015 of 19 March 2015. br> The Issuer analyzed the content of the letter and attached documents and prepared a response to the statement in the 30-day deadline set by the court. br> br> Preliminary assessment of the justification of the claims of the statement of claim indicates their total groundlessness.
